News!

My arcade cabinet is in production these days. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks it must be done.

After that, the next step is to update the PIAPARA LiveCD and after, restart PIAPARA interface production.

People are sending messages and post question about this project. This project is oriented for arcade emulation only, not videogames. I did everything in Linux because we want performance. So, if you give some idea about a new application, it must be a Linux application.

Next release will be more interesting. I'll try to do a better compatibility and with a very faster boot time.

That's all for now.

Thanks for this update. If you plan on entering linux territory maybe you could join forces with Loray. That's a guy from Germany who has put quite some effort in his arcade linux distribution ZXMameCD. He is working on this for serval years now using a lightweight Slackware variant and he plans on releasing two more distributions soon, a light version with just MAME (ZXMameCD contains several other emulators and a media player) and a tiny Raine distro.

Sadly, neither he nor me speak Brazilian or Portugese, but I guess English should be ok. So before any of you tries to reinvent the wheel it could benefit both of of you if you would talk with each other. Just a thought.
